CARBARN | Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG (2013) | The spring / damper settings of the AMG sports suspension has been adapted for the more dynamic handling characteristics of the new model. In order to reduce vibration and noise impacts, the design engineers at Mercedes-AMG is also a wide range of NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) measures are implemented. The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG is fitted as standard on new AMG 5x2 spoke alloy wheels. The 9.5 x 20 wheels with titanium-gray painted burnished with 275/50 R 20 tires. Also available as an exclusive special features, the vehicle may be equipped with flat-black painted AMG light-alloy wheels with flanges sheen. The new AMG high-performance brake system providing top performance in terms of delay, adjustable feed and endurance. The front axle is equipped with over a six-piston fixed-caliper brake system from the ML63 AMG, with a single-piston floating caliper brake system caliper on the rear axle.


Following the model of the SL63 AMG and SL65 AMG G63 AMG has taken over the well on the new face of the AMG brand. The high-gloss black "Twin Blade" radiator grille with four chrome-plated inserts make the new G-Class model is instantly recognizable as AMG. Vertical high-gloss chrome-steel inserts to create a distinctively masculine look for the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG. As before, only the AMG model, the characteristic wheel-arch extensions, stainless steel running boards and side moldings with stainless steel inserts. Other features include the "V8 Biturbo" logo on the front fender and G63 AMG nameplate on the tailgate.



Provided along with the facelift changes as standard, including the new instrument panel and state-of-the-art infotainment and assistance systems, the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG features an AMG instrument cluster with color TFT screen, an AMG main menu and separate gear indication plus white illuminated AMG door sills on all doors. The elegant E-SELECT shift lever with the distinctive AMG medallion is a familiar feature in other models such as the SLS AMG. Available options for a more stylish interior includes the AMG carbon trim and designo Exclusive package. As in the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, the AMG SPEED SHIFT PLUS 7G TRONIC automatic transmission system is responsible for the transmission of power to all four wheels.


Interior trim includes the welcome screen with exclusive AMG V12 biturbo animation, designo Exclusive leather upholstery and leather dashboard. An exclusive optional extras from the AMG Performance Studio is AMG light-alloy wheels, painted matt black with high-gloss rim flanges.
